Resumen de Lutero y la experiencia mística: un enfoque filosófico

El artículo analiza la experiencia mística –sobre todo tal como se desarrolla en la mística del Carmelo– y la “mística de la Palabra” de Martín Lutero. Se verá como Lutero comparte con la mística carmelitana la idea de lo inefable del Misterio, el cual, no obstante, transforma al creyente en la unión con el Cristo a través de la Palabra revelada. Las categorías teóricas acerca de la experiencia mística son tomadas, primordialmente, de estudiosas ya clásicas del fenómeno místico: Evelyn Underhill, Hilda Graef y Victoria Cirlot. En lo que respecta al abordaje de la mística desde la perspectiva luterana nos hemos servido de los aportes de Jurgen Moltmann y Hubertus Blaumeiser.

The article analyzes the mystical experience –especially as it develops in the mystique of Carmel– and the “mystic of the Word”, by Martin Luther. It will be seen how Luther shares with the Carmelite mystic the idea of the ineffable of the Mystery, which, however, transforms the believer into union with the Christ through the revealed Word. The theoretical categories about the mystical experience are taken, primarily, from already classical scholars of the mystical phenomenon: Evelyn Underhill, Hilda Graef and Victoria Cirlot. With regard to the approach to mysticism from the Lutheran perspective, we have used the contributions of Jürgen Moltmann and Hubertus Blaumeiser.
