Resumen de La educación del rey: Una relectura de “El rey y el cadáver” en el Medioevo hindú

El presente artículo se basa en un relato que pertenece al universo de la India medieval: el Brhat-Kathâsarît sâgara. En esta colección, y bajo el arquetipo del rey, analizaremos la narración de las andanzas del monarca quien como representante y responsable del destino colectivo debe cumplir la misión de profundizar refinadamente su autoconocimiento revisando sus estructuras axiológicas y sus fundamentos metafísicos. De este modo logra concretar su destino y, a través de él, constituirse en ejemplo y modelo para el hombre actual aquejado por un mundo desorientado jaqueado por la postmodernidad.

This article is based on a story that belongs to the universe of medieval India: the Brhat-Kathâsarît sâgara. In this collection and under the archetype of the king we will analyze the narration of the wanderings of the monarch who as representative and responsible for the collective destiny must fulfill his personal mission, which means the search of his deepest self-knowledge; and this will require a redefinition of his axiological structures and his metaphysical foundations. In this way he will realize his destiny and through it he might become an example and model for the current man afflicted by a disoriented world hacked by postmodernity.
