    El presente texto se interroga sobre la presencia e influencia del patriarcado en los debates constituyentes que alumbraron nuestra Norma en 1978. A tal fin, se parte de la premisa de algunas investigaciones actuales, en el sentido de que consideran la Constitución un producto patriarcal. Posteriormente se explorará si eso tuvo manifestaciones concretas en el debate constituyente de tres preceptos capitales para la igualdad constitucional (artículos 1.1; 9.2 y 14 CE). Finalmente, se aportan algunas consideraciones en voz alta sobre si, a la luz de todo ello, tiene sentido hablar de Constitución patriarcal. Se finaliza con una reflexión final que pretende compendiar los principales hallazgos.

    The paper explores the presence and influence of the patriarchy within the constitutional debates that leaded to the nowadays Spanish Constitution. The starting point will be the core idea given by part of our academic literature, that our Constitution is indeed patriarchal. We try to find some evidence of that within the constituent Parliament´s framework, specifically within the debates carried out on three of the most important norms on equality (articles 1.1; 9.2 and 14 SC). Afterwards we give some reasons that try to ask if nowadays makes full-sense speak in those terms. Finally, a final conclusion will be set, shedding light to the main ideas.
