Després de l'estudi de la trajectòria periodística de Martí Domínguez i Barberà (1908-1984), un dels comunicadors valencians més reeixits de la segona meitat del segle xx, calia abordar l'anàlisi de la seua producció en premsa, formada bàsicament per articles i columnes. El present article descriu la metodologia i les línies del programa d'investigació emprats per a abordar l'anàlisi d'un conjunt discursiu format per un miler d'articles i columnes, que configuren el camp de treball de la tesi doctoral Anàlisi del discurs periodístic de Martí Domínguez i Barberà llegida a la Universitat de València el 2005.

After studying the journalism trajectory of Martí Domínguez i Barberà (1908-1984), one of the most successful Valencian communicators of the second half of the 20th century, further study was required regarding his newspaper writing mainly articles and columns.
The present article describes the methodology and lines of research involved in the study of a discourse group of approximately a thousand articles and columns comprising the subject matter of the doctoral thesis Analysis of the journalistic discourse of Martí Domínguez i Barberà read at the University of Valencia in 2005.
