  En este trabajo analizaremos la evolución del poblamiento humano en el valle del Guadalete, remontándonos a sus orígenes en la Prehistoria y centrándonos en el posterior dominio romano, momento en el que asistiremos a la implantación de la ciuitas como nueva forma de ocupación y ordenación territorial, y en consecuencia, a la aparición de la uilla como nuevo modelo de explotación agraria.

  In this paper we'll analyse the evolution of human settlement in the Guadalete river's valley, begining from its origin in the Prehistory and remarking the later roman domination. In this time, we'll see the implantation of the ciuitas as a new way of occupation and distribution of the territory, and, consequently, at the apperance of the uilla as new model of agrarian exploitation.
