Resumen de Caracterización geológico-geotécnica de la presa de la Loteta

• Ebro Water Authority is building the dam of La Loteta of loose material with clay core. Its foundations are constituted by a Miocene tertiary deposit (Aragoniense) inside Zaragoza Formation that is formed an alternance of grey loams with plentiful gypsum levels and brown clays. In orden to characterize the rock mass, several drillings, field and laboratory tests, and geophysics have been carried out.
