El presente texto propone la lectura de la película Call me by your name (Luca Guadagnino, 2017), en relación con diversos problemas planteados por la filosofía del tiempo. Así, teniendo en cuenta que la película traza explícitamente una conexión entre Heráclito y Heidegger, parece pertinente tomar como punto de partida a ambos pensadores para preguntarse por la manera en la que tanto el amor como el saber funcionan como fuerzas capaces de hacer devenir, generar cambio, y sobre todo, situarse en la conexión de los sujetos con su deseo. No obstante, también se tendrán en cuenta las disposiciones temporales de Plotino y de Descartes, si bien de manera inevitablemente más limitada. Por último, nos plantearemos por el lugar concreto que la película cede al problema de la palabra de los padres en relación con dicho deseo.

The present text proposes a reading of the film Call me by your name (Luca Guadagnino, 2017), in relation to the different problems stated by the philosophy of the time. The film explicitly outlines a connection between Heraclitus and Heidegger, so it seems pertinent to take as a starting point both thinkers in order to ask ourselves about the way in which love as well as knowledge function as forces capable of generating change and above all, connect the subjects with their own desires. Nevertheless, we also take into consideration the temporal dispositions of Plotinus and Descartes, albeit inevitably in a more limited way. Lastly, we will think about the place the film assigns to the problem of the parent’s word in relation to such desire.
