  • Three diferent parameters of Illites from the unconformable Buntsandstein of the Cinco Villas, Alduides and Oroz-Betelu basque Paleozoic massifs can be interpreted as characteristic of either the iberian or european plates. The Leiza Fault, which is the western extension of the Nord-Pyrenean Fault, is then considered as the limit between both plates.
