Resumen de El papel de las Órdenes Religiosas, Militares y Hospitalarias en Asturias:: siglo XVI al XIX

En esta comunicación se pretende desentrañar la importancia de las Órdenes Religiosas, Militares y Hospitalarias en Asturias durante la Edad Moderna y su papel e influencia dentro de la sociedad asturiana, además de su relación entre sí, con otros sectores privilegiados de la sociedad asturiana. Con estos fines se analizarán el calado, el poder y la influencia de las diferentes Órdenes presentes en Asturias, en diferentes sectores como la economía, la cultura, presentes en la región en esta cota cronológica y dentro de los sectores privilegiados, así como sus características definitorias dentro de este grupo. También se analizará la procedencia social de los religiosos y religiosas, observando cuáles procedían de familias de los sectores acomodados y su posible parentesco con otros eclesiásticos. Por último, se tratará de establecer si existe algún patrón en la composición sociológica de las comunidades religiosas asturianas o si existe en función de cada Orden.

This communication intends to unravel the importance of the Religious, Military and Hospitaller Orders in Asturias during the Modern Age and its role and influence within the Asturian society, as well as its relation to each other, with other privileged sectors of society Asturian. With these aims we will analyze the draft, the power and the influence of the different Orders present in Asturias, in different sectors such as economy, culture, present in the region in this chronological level and within the privileged sectors, as well as their characteristics defining within this group. The social background of the men and women religious will also be analyzed, observing which came from families of the wealthy sectors and their possible kinship with other ecclesiastics. Finally, we will try to establish if there is a pattern in the sociological composition of the Asturian religious communities or if it exists according to each Order
