Se presentan datos del Estudio y Tratamientode Episodios Psicóticos (ETEP) del Institut deNeuropsiquiatria i Addiccions del Parc de SalutMar, Barcelona. Se revisa la hipótesis de la rela-ción entre cannabis y psicosis, cómo es el con-sumo de cannabis en el inicio de la psicosis ydespués, la cuestión de si el cannabis modificala aparición y evolución de la psicosis y cómolo hace, la posible asociación del consumo decannabis con grupos de síntomas, y las posiblesdiferencias en los motivos de consumo

Data of the ETEP (Study and Treatment ofPsychotic Episodes), from Parc de Salut Mar Ins-titute of Neuropsychiatry and Addictions (Bar-celona), are presented. The hypothesis of thecannabis-psychosis relationship, the cannabisuse at the onset of psychosis and after it, thequestion of whether cannabis modifies the ap-pearance and evolution of psychosis and how itgoes, the possible association of cannabis usewith groups of symptoms, and possible differen-ces in the reasons for cannabis use are reviewed
