Resumen de Depresión y rendimiento académico en los alumnos del Colegio de Estudios Científicos y Tecnológicos del Estado de Durango

  La presente investigación se realizó con 406 alumnos Colegio de Estudios Científicos y Tecnológicos del Estado de Durango (CECyTED) de 20 planteles distribuidos en el Estado de Durango, teniendo como objetivo determinar la relación que existe entre la Depresión y el rendimiento académico. Se trabajó bajo un enfoque cuantitativo, a través de un estudio correlacional, transversal y no experimental. Se aplicó el Inventario Multidimensional de la Depresión de González (IMDAGO), al cual se le realizaron algunas modificaciones; el instrumento mostró un índice de confiabilidad en alfa de Cronbach de 0.95. Los resultados sugieren un nivel bajo de depresión en alumnos del CECyTED y se detecta que no existe relación entre la depresión y la variable rendimiento académico.

  The present investigation was carried out with 406 students of the School of Scientific and Technological Studies of the State of Durango (CECyTED) of 20 schools distributed in the State of Durango, with the objective of determining the relationship between Depression and academic performance. We worked under a quantitative approach, through a correlational, transversal and non-experimental study. The Multidimensional Inventory of Depression of González (IMDAGO) was applied, to which some modifications were made; the instrument showed an index of reliability in Cronbach's alpha of 0.95. The results suggest a ow level of depression in CECyTED students and it is detected that there is no relationship between depression and variable academic performance.
