Resumen de Introducción: el Acuerdo de Paz entre el Gobierno colombiano y las FARC-EP o la paz esquiva

  El Acuerdo de Paz o Acuerdo Final entre el Gobierno de Colombia y las FARC-EP ha dado fin al conflicto armado con esta organización guerrillera. Este acuerdo se ha convertido en un modelo por los diferentes elementos que contiene: desde una perspectiva de género y étnica hasta una metodología de negociación en medio del conflicto, entre otros. Este artículo introductorio quiere presentar los antecedentes del proceso de paz y las principales líneas del acuerdo alcanzado, así como el balance preliminar del cumplimiento de los acuerdos (a fecha de abril de 2019) y las perspectivas de su éxito. Ello permite ofrecer un contexto general a los artículos incluidos en este número de Revista CIDOB d’Afers Internacionals dedicado al proceso de paz en Colombia y, de esta manera, comprender el marco dentro del cual sus contenidos deben ser interpretados.

  The Peace Agreement or Final Agreement between the Colombian government and the FARC-EP brought the armed conflict with the guerrilla organisation to an end. The agreement is seen as a model due to several of its features: among others, its gender and ethnic perspective, and its methodology of negotiation in the midst of conflict. This introductory article seeks to present the background to the peace process and the main lines of the agreement reached. It also makes a preliminary assessment of compliance with the accords (as of April 2019) and the prospects of success.

  A general context is thereby provided to the papers included in this issue of Revista CIDOB d’Afers Internacionals, which is dedicated to the peace process in Colombia, and to understanding the framework within which its contents should be interpreted.
