Resumen de La teoría de la subjetividad: una teoría de personalidad del siglo 21

En la actualidad el interés por la Perspectiva Histórico Cultural (PHC) está aumentando en distintos sectores de la psicología. No obstante, este interés se ha circunscrito mayormente a la aplicación de esta perspectiva al ámbito de la educación y de los procesos cognitivos. Esto se debe a la falta de visibilidad que han tenido las elaboraciones de Vygotsky en torno a las emociones y la personalidad. De igual manera esto ha generado un desconocimiento en torno a teorías que se han desarrollado en la última década que han rescatado este legado de Vygotsky. Un ejemplo representativo de esto lo es la teoría de personalidad desarrollada por el psicólogo cubano Fernando González Rey. El presente escrito busca exponer los fundamentos filosóficos y los conceptos centrales de la teoría con el fin de dar a conocer esta aportación tan significativa a la PHC, al estudio de la personalidad y a la psicología en general.

In recent years the interest for the Cultural Historical Perspective (CHP) is increasing in different sector of psychology. However, this interest has limited itself mainly to the application of this perspective to the context of education and cognitive processes. This is due to a lack of visibility that Vygotsky’s elaborations about emotions and personality have had. At the same time this has generated a lack of knowledge concerning theories that have been developed in the last decade that have managed to rescue this aspect of Vygotsky’s legacy. A representative example of this is the theory of personality developed by the cuban psychologist Fernando González Rey. In the present article I present and explain the philosophical foundations and the central concepts of this theory in order to give more visibility to this contribution which is so significant to the CHP, to the study of personality and to psychology in general.
