Resumen de Desarrollo evolutivo y severidad del trastorno del espectro autista en niños: relación con el ci

  El Trastorno del Espectro Autista (TEA) es un trastorno del neurodesarrollo que se caracteriza principalmente por la alteración en el área de la comunicación social. Es importante su identificación temprana para su intervención. Nuestro estudio pretende estudiar qué áreas del desarrollo están más afectadas y su relación con la severidad del diagnóstico. Para ello participaron 51 familias con niños con diagnóstico clínico de Trastorno del Espectro Autista. Se administraron pruebas de CI verbal y no-verbal, el test Gars-2 y el Inventario de Desarrollo de la Battelle. Los resultados mostraron que las áreas de comunicación expresiva y personal/social estaban más deterioradas en los sujetos de la muestra. Por otra parte se comprobó la relación entre la severidad del TEA, el CI y las diferentes áreas de desarrollo de la Batelle, a excepción de la psicomotricidad fina.

  Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized mainly by alteration in the area of social communication. It is important to identify him early for his intervention. Our study aims to study which areas of development are most affected and their relationship with the severity of the diagnosis. For this, 51 families with children with a clinical diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder participated. We administered verbal and non-verbal IQ tests, the Gars-2 test and the Battelle Development Inventory. The results showed that the areas of expressive and personal / social communication were more deteriorated in the subjects of the sample. On the other hand, the relationship between the severity of the ASD, the IC and the different areas of development of the Batelle was verified, with the exception of fine psychomotricity.
