Resumen de Model-based assessment of college alumni applied to computer engineering and sciences
In the fields of computer engineering and computer science, it is crucial for academic institutions to update their curriculumand develop their environment in response to raised opinions of college stakeholders, mainly college alumni andemployers. Program outcomes and alumni competence need be measured and analyzed periodically and their resultsmust be conveyed to curriculum committees, administration, enrolled students and policy makers within the college andthe institution. The main purpose of this work was to relate program outcomes with the college and university objectives, tomeasure the alumni satisfaction on the college programs, and to report the progress of alumni and stakeholder satisfactionin the College for Computer and Information Sciences. We report here the progress in quality and competency of thecollege alumni as compared to a previously conducted survey.
