  Se tiende a creer que en la antigüedad los conocimientos científicos eran escasos y, a veces, surge algo en la historia que supera nuestras expectativas y lo desmiente. Este es el caso del protagonista del presente artculo, el mecanismo de Antikythera, un instrumento que nos ha permitido conocer mejor esas mentes pr odigiosas de nuestros antepasados.

  We tend to believe that in ancient times the scientific knowledge were scarce and sometimes arises something in history which exceeds our expectations and denies it. This is the case of the protagonist of this article, the Antikythera mechanism, an instrument that has allowed us to better understand those prodigious minds of our ancestors.
