Resumen de Significados e valores na religiosidade de universitários
Este texto pretende descrever a religiosidade (“capacidade humana, história e culturalmente determinada, de elaborar sentidos para a totalidade da existência”) vivenciada pelos estudantes da PUC-SP. Isso significa palpar sua fé em estado nascente e mapear o solo vital de onde brotam suas convicções. Foi elaborado um questionário que inclui itens quantitativos e qualitativos, aplicado em versões quadrienais entre 2000 e 2012 e que contou com as respostas de 4.000 sujeitos, ao todo. Um dos resultados principais foi identificar um núcleo de valores a partir de sentenças ponderadas, aquelas com maior identificação e aquelas com maior rejeição, apresentadas pelo instrumento.Abstract: This text intends to describe religiousness (“human capacity, historically and culturally determined, to elaborate meanings for the totality of existence”) experienced by the students of PUC-SP. This means to palpate their faith in a nascent state and to map the vital and historical ground from which their convictions spring. It was drawn up a quantitative/qualitative questionnaire, applied in quadrennial versions between 2000 and 2012 and which counted on the answers of 4.000 subjects, in total. One of the main results was to identify a core of values from the weighted sentences, the ones with the highest identification and those with the highest rejection, presented by the instrument.Keywords: Religiousness; Youth; University; Religions; Modernity.
