Resumen de Passeig de Ribera. Un gran mirador per a la ciutat (2017)

  En el present treball es descriu el procés de disseny de l’espai públic del Passeig de Ribera del riu Besòs, en el tram comprès entre els barris de Barò de Viver i Bon Pastor, al districte de Sant Andreu. S’exposen els antecedents dels barris, la seva situació actual, la problemàtica detectada, el desenvolupament del projecte, el resultat final obtingut sustentat amb plans, seccions i vistes.Des del primer moment es detecta un espai de ruptura molt clara en el territori: l’existència de la Ronda Litoral interromp la continuïtat del teixit urbà amb el marge del riu Besòs. Això produeix certa segregació dels barris amb respecte al restant de la ciutat, a causa de la fragmentació de la trama urbana que forma barreres en determinats sectors i impedeix l’accés fluid a la ribera.Tomant aquest com un dels principals punts a millorar, es proposa un projecte de disseny d’espai públic basat en un passeig on es distingeixen fonamentalment tres espais.:ESPAI D’INTEGRACIÓ. Es pretén donar resposta a la ruptura pel que fa a la relació ciutat-riu, cobrint la ronda del Litoral a través de la creació d’un passeig que es relaciona tant visual com espacialment amb el riu i que permet la unió entre els dos marges així com un el llarg del riu.ESPAI DE CONTINUITAT. Es proposa un passeig lineal, direccionat i al seu torn dinàmic, que acompanya el caudal del riu i que connecta els espais públics existents. D’aquesta manera es crea un enllaç d’espais que formen una estructura urbana llegible i que es percep a través de la mobilitat per als vianants, l’espai i el paisatge.ESPAI MULTIPROGRAMÀTIC. Es busca aconseguir un entorn on es passeja, s’observa la naturalesa, es va en biccleta i es practiquen diverses activitats recreatives, urbanes i residencials.

  This paper describes the design process of the public space for the Paseo de Ribera del Río Besòs, in the section between the neighborhoods of Barò de Viver and Bon Pastor in the district of Sant Andreu. The antecedents of the neighborhoods are analyzed, as well as their current situation, the problems detected, the development of the project, the final result obtained supported with plans, sections and views.From the very beginning a very clear space of rupture is detected in the territory: the existence of the Litoral round belt interrupts the continuity of the urban fabric with the margin of the Besòs river. This produces a certain segregation of neighborhoods with respect to the rest of the city, due to the fragmentation of the urban fabric that forms barriers in certain sectors and prevents fluid access to the riverbank.Taking this as one of the main points to improve, we propose a public space design project based on a walkway where three spaces are distinguished:INTEGRATION SPACE. It is intended to give an answer to the rupture in relation to the city-river relationship, covering the Ronda del Litoral through the creation of a walk that is both visually and spatially related to the river and that allows the union between both margins as well as along the river.SPACE OF CONTINUITY. A linear, directed and dynamic turn is proposed, which accompanies the flow of the river and connects the existing public spaces. In this way a link of spaces that form a readable urban structure is created and perceived through pedestrian mobility, spatiality and landscape.MULTI-PROGRAMMATIC SPACE. It seeks to achieve an environment where you can walk, observe nature, go by bicycle and practice various recreational, urban and residential activities.
