  • El artículo intentar analizar la influencia de la fotografía en la obra literaria de dos de los más conocidos y relevantes escritores hispanoamericanos de todos los tiempos. Juan Carlos Onetti y Julio Cortázar incluyeron en sus cuentos la fotografía como una técnica esencial para lograr una narrativa compleja y argumentos sofisticados. Dieron una sólida contribución en el campo literario porque hicieron uso de la fotografía para obtener reflexiones filosóficas. Ambos escritores, a través de esta técnica, no sólo se preocuparon por describir la situación social de América Latina y sus conflictos internos, sino que también intentaron explorar los límites de la maldad y la crueldad del ser humano.Fotografía, Literatura hispanoamericana, cuentos, Juan Carlos Onetti, Julio CortázarThis paper tries to analyze the influence of photography in the literary work of two of the best known and more significant Latin American writers of all time. Juan Carlos Onetti and Julio Cortázar included in their short stories the photography as an essential technique to accomplish a complex narrative and sophisticated plots. They gave a solid contribution in the literary field because they made use of photography to obtain philosophical reflections. Both writers, by this technique, not only were concerned about the social situation in Latin America and their internal conflicts, but also they tried to explore the limits of wickedness and harshness of human being.Photography, Latin American literature, short stories, Juan Carlos Onetti, Julio Cortázar
