Resumen de Bueno como marcador discursivo de inicio de turno y contraposición: estudio sociolingüístico

María José Serrano Montesinos

  • Sociolinguistic studies have pointed out the relationship between language Variation and the effects that communicative Interpretation should provide to determine the nature of linguistic variables. To observe the extent to which utterances conform to specific discoursive senses associated with different socio-communicative intepretation, Ihave lookedat the case ofthe discourse marker bueno in Spanish. The structures of conversation create communicative coherence, and discourse markers provide a meaning that can be stated äs discoursive, depending on the Speaker's communicative purposes. The results indicate that socio-communicative intepretation of syntactic structures are very significant for understanding the social meaning of discourse markers. The analysis of bueno äs a discourse marker reveals discoursive patterns among men and women, which is where communicative interaction and linguistic behavior become interesting sociolinguistic constraints. The social correlation of bueno demonstrates that communicative purpose, pragmatic meaning, and social factors are involved, concluding that it accurately defines natural speech acts.
