The information on the marble plaques displayed in Orange (‘cadastre’ B and ‘cadastre’ C) provides information on the resources of the colony. One can distinguish between the publica, which would be the public lands of the colony, and lands called col(oniae) whose only income was attributed to the colony by Augustus. The revenue collection follows the same procedure, but remains essentially distinct within a legal context.
