Resumen de Correlación entre la alteraciones del umbral luminoso diferencial y de la visión cromática, inducidas por un incremento en la presión intraocular

  Se estudian el umbral luminoso diferencial por medio del programa G1 del Octopus 2000, y la visión cromática por medio del test de Farnsworth-Munsell de 100-Hue, en 12 ojos con sospecha de glaucoma y en 12 ojos con glaucoma crónico simple. El objetivo es analizar las posibles correlaciones entre los dos test. Se trata de un estudio prospectivo randomizado a tres niveles de presión intraocular.

  Los resultados indican que el comportamiento del grupo con sospecha de glaucoma es distinto al de la población con glaucoma crónico simple. En el grupo con sospecha de glaucoma se encontraron correlacionadas las dos pruebas, pero la correlación era atribuible a la edad.

  En el grupo con glaucoma crónico simple, el incremento en la presión intraocular determinó correlaciones entre las dos pruebas que fueron independientes de la edad.

  Differential luminous threshold is study by the program G1 of the Octopus 2000, and the chromatic vision by the Farnsworth-Munsell"s test of 100-Hue, in 12 eyes with a suspicion of glaucoma, and in 12 eyes with simple chronic glaucoma. The objective is to analyze the possibles correlation between the two test. lt's about a random prospective study to a three intraocular pressure levels. The results shows that the behavior of the group with the suspicion of glaucoma is different to the population with simple chronic glaucoma. In the group with a suspicion of glaucoma we found the two proofs correlationate, but the correlation was due to the age.

  In the group with simple chronic glaucoma, the increase of intraocular pressure determine correlations between the two proofs, that it hasn't to be with the age.
