Resumen de Producción científica de los investigadores categorizados en el Programa Nacional de Incentivo a los Investigadores (PRONII) de Paraguay (2005-2015)

En la presente investigación se analiza la producción científica de los investigadores categorizados en el Programa Nacional de Incentivo para los Investigadores (PRONII) abarcando su producción de artículos científicos arbitrados publicados desde el año 2005 hasta el 2015. El estudio tiene por objetivo determinar los índices de producción por área de la ciencia, a modo de dar a conocer la importancia de la visibilidad investigativa nacional a través de las publicaciones en revistas arbitradas. El estudio es cuantitativo, ya que se utiliza la información curricular de los investigadores PRONII proveída por el CONACYT y se aplica el análisis estadístico. Los resultados obtenidos indican que el área de mayor producción científica paraguaya es el de las Ciencias de la Salud, Química y Biología Animal.

The present research analyzes the scientific production of researchers categorized in the National Incentive Program for Researchers (PRONII) covering their production as refereed scientific articles published from 2005 to 2015. The study aims to determine the indexes of production by area of science, in order to raise awareness of the importance of national research visibility through publications in refereed journals. The study is quantitative, since the curriculum information of the PRONII researchers provided by CONACYT is used and the Excel software is applied as a tool for statistical analysis. The results obtained indicate that the area of greatest scientific production in Paraguay is that of the Sciences of Health, Chemistry and Animal Biology.
