  • An editorial is presented which addresses the author's views about the methodological challenges and solutions regarding the collection of sexual orientation and gender identity data in America as of 2017, and it mentions statistical power and the U.S. National Survey of Older Americans Act Participants. Improvements to the process of educating government research investigators is examined, along with statistical power and the reactions of survey participants.
