Vacíos e identidad en la novela gráfica de no-ficción

    El presente artículo pretende explorar la presencia de la no-ficción; especialmente la no-ficción autobiográfica o testimonial, en el mundo del cómic bajo el formato de la novela gráfica, modalidad reciente de publicación en el ámbito de la historieta. Al mismo tiempo, se plantean algunas cuestiones relativas al modo como los cómics comunican desde un lenguaje que está marcado por la presencia de vacíos, tanto a un nivel sintáctico, con la presencia inevitable del gutter y la elipsis, como a nivel de la mediación del dibujo, cuando se refiere a acontecimientos inspirados en la vida real.

    Non-fiction seems to be a genre different to comic. Nevertheless, in the last decades we have seen a growing production in this field. In this article I want to explore, through a brief and provisional taxonomy, the presence of non-fiction; especially the autobiographical and testimonial non-fiction in the world of comics under the form of graphic novel, a recent modality of publication in this field. At the same time, I will set out some issues regarding the way comics inform from a language that is marked with the presence of empty spaces, as much to a syntactic level, with the unavoidable presence of the gutter and the ellipsis, as to the intervention of the draw, when we refer to events inspired by real life.
