  • The aim of this paper is to provide a typological discussion on electronic multilingual portals and dictionaries. For this purpose, the main features of both kinds of electronical resources must be described. After the outlining the differences between portal and dictionary, this research gives an account of the distinguishing and prototypically features of a multilingual dictionary and therefore makes a proposal for a definition and a structure of multilingual electronic dictionaries. A clear description of this kind of resource is needed for teaching as well as learning.
