Resumen de El movimiento renovador de la matemática española de finales del siglo XIX
This paper is intended to examine the repercussions on the field of the spanish mathematics of the movement of scientific reneval which arouse in our country at the end of the 19th century. In order to provide the reader with a wider perspective of this process of modernization, it also analyses briefly some episodes and certain aspects of our scientific history which took place in that century or even before.
