The monastery of Sant Bartomeu is one of the emblematic place of Inca. Declared BIC, retains a rich and diverse collection of historical and artistic pieces. It stands out as the only convent not afected by the disentailment on the municipality, it is the only monastery now occupied by the Order of St. Jerome in Mallorca and it is the first religious place in Inca who created a museum.
This article aims to give value to the monastery, evaluate the management carried out and make a diagnosis of its current situation.

El monestir de Sant Bartomeu és, a nivell patrimonial, un dels espais emblemàtics d’Inca.
Declarat bé d’interès cultural, conserva una rica i diversa col·lecció de béns historicoartístics. Destaca per ser l’únic espai conventual no desamortitzat del municipi, l’únic monestir ocupat actualment per l’orde de Sant Jeroni a Mallorca i el primer espai religiós a museïtzar-se a Inca.
Amb aquesta comunicació es pretén posar en valor el monestir, avaluar les tasques de gestió patrimonial que s’hi han duit a terme i elaborar una diagnosi de les seves capacitats.
