El proceso de nacionalización homologó territorios integrándolos funcionalmente. La red férrea, con la estación de Alcázar de San Juan, fue clave en el sistema conformado y la consiguiente conquista de territorios a favor de la nacionalización. Procuró la inserción administrativa.
Unió la economía nacional, en tanto nexo entre Centro-Sur-Levante, conectándola al mercado mundial. Aportó al mercado nacional e internacional cereales, vinos, alcoholes y minerales. Posibilitó la estabilización de precios y aprovisionamiento de Madrid. Además, fue escala privilegiada en la reproducción de capitales vascos y catalanes. Por último, indujo modificaciones en la estructura social agraria manchega, dirigiéndola hacia la Nación de los propietarios. Todos son indicadores de la nacionalización.

The nationalization process homologated several territories integrating them functionally.
The railway network, with the station of Alcázar de San Juan, was key in the system conformed and the subsequent conquest of territories in favor of the nationalization. The railways brought to the national and international market cereals, wines, alcohols and minerals. The railway network allowed the stabilization of prices and supplies of Madrid. Besides, it was privileged scale in the reproduction of Basque and Catalan capitals. Finally, it induced modifications in the agrarian social structure of La Mancha, directing it towards the Nation of the owners. All of the above are indicators of the nationalization.
