    El valor se forma como resultado de estar el estudiante inmerso en el proceso de formación, no sólo de conocimientos y habilidades sino de todo lo referente a la interacción social. Este trabajo se propone revisar la bibliografía existente acerca de los diferentes criterios sobre los valores y su importancia en los estudiantes de Ciencias Médicas, destacando la labor fundamental del profesor (instruir, enseñar y educar) y sus  cualidades.

    Value grows as a result of the immersion of the student in the formation process, not just because of the knowledge and skills if not of everything in regard to the social interaction. It is remarkable for today’s Cuban professors to occupy themselves on the formativ e tasks. In this article it is proposed to check the existing bibliography of the different criterion of values and the importance of the formation of this in Medical Science’s students; besides, it is outstanding the fundamental work of the teacher (to in struct, to teach, to educate); as well as the qualities they must gather, offering conclusions.
