It is analyzed how the measures of the Common Agricultural Policy have influenced in the most representative cultures of the drynesses murcian, attending to the evolution of surfaces and productions of almond-tree, olive grove and vineyard in the last thirty years. A series of transforming industries are attached to them to facilitate the consumption, of little production, (“partidor” of almonds and pickles of olives) and more elaborated ones (nougats of almond, olive oils and wines); with a strong international competition that reverberates in the demand and in the balance of these productions and surfaces in the period 1986-2015.
These cultures move between the recent paradigm of multifunctionality of the agriculture and the traditional one of productivity, of performances according to busy surface and number of feet (of trees or vine-stocks). Agroambiental measures are applied in the rural scene in order not to leave the culture, almond-tree case, or of restructuring the subsector with other measures as the reduction of the culture, case of vineyard. The result is more than 115.000 cultivated hectares in the Region of Murcia, 61,82% of almond-tree, 21,24% of vineyard, and 16,94% of olive grove.
