    Recordar, como ha hecho la prensa, las infraestructuras construidas con los actos del 92, en las ciudades de Barcelona y Sevilla, 25 años después, con una fuerte intervención de los ingenieros de caminos, canales y puertos, parece de justicia, por las transformaciones radicales que estas infraestructuras (no sólo subterráneas y superficiales, sino también aéreas) tuvieron en el paisaje urbano de estas dos ciudades. A ellas se unió el AVE de Madrid a Sevilla, que inició la construcción de nuevas líneas de alta velocidad en España (y que aquí comentamos sólo en relación a la transformación de Sevilla, junto con la estación de Atocha) y el beneficio indirecto que estos actos tuvieron para Madrid, declarada capital cultural, con la remodelación ferroviaria del suroeste de Madrid.

    Exactly 25 years later and as reflected by the press, this article looks back on the infrastructure built on the occasion of the events in 1992 in the cities of Barcelona and Seville. This on account of the active involvement of civil engineers and the radical impact (underground, surface and aerial) that these infrastructure had on the urban landscape of these two cities. In addition to these works, reference is also be made to the Madrid to Seville highspeed railway line, the forerunner in the construction of the new high-speed lines in Spain (and which we only refer to in relation to the transformation of Seville, together with the Atocha station) and the indirect benefits that these events had for Madrid, which had been declared the capital of culture, with the remodelling of the railways to the southwest of the city.
