El presente texto aborda uno de los aspectos más novedosos de la igualdad de género en el ámbito político y parlamentario, el denominado principio gender-sensitive. En primer término se estudia su concepto, sus caracteres y sus ámbitos de acción. En segundo lugar, se aplican tales parámetros a nuestros Parlamentos, tanto nacional como autonómicos, al objeto de saber si son o no sensibles al género.

The paper studies one of the newest goals in the field of political and parliamentary gender equality, the gender-sensitive principle. Firstly we study the definition of gender-sensitive, the main features and the scopes. Secondly, we apply those issues to our Parliaments, both the national parliament and the regional parliaments, in order to know if they are gender-sensitive.
