En el contexto de la grave crisis política, económica y social que atraviesa Venezuela, se ha vuelto a plantear una vez más la discusión en torno a una Asamblea Nacional Constituyente. El texto analiza el contexto institucional en el cual se ha propuesto este proceso constituyente y los diferentes “procesos constituyentes” y reformas constitucionales en Venezuela. Finalmente el autor reflexiona sobre los primeros dos meses del funcionamiento de la Asamblea Nacional Constituyente.

In the context of the current political, economic and social crisis in Venezuela, the discussion on a National Constituent Assembly has once again been raised. The text analyses the institutional context in which this process has been proposed and the different “constituent processes” and constitutional reforms in Venezuela. Finally the author analyses the first two months of the functioning of the National Constituent Assembly.
