Se analizan los aspectos relacionados con el comportamiento de la morbilidad mortalidad por neoplasia del pulmón en el Policlínico Universitario “Ramón López Peña” del municipio Caimanera durante los años comprendidos entre el 2009 hasta el 2012.El universo de estudio es de 74 pacientes. Se realiza una investigación descriptiva, obteniéndose la información de los expedientes clínicos de los pacientes y de los registros en el departamento de estadística de salud en esta institución. Se estudian las siguientes variables: edad, diagnóstico precoz y tardío, sexo, hábito de fumar, mortalidad y la morbilidad e incidencia de otras neoplasias. Al 100 % de los fallecidos se le realizó la necropsia.

The aspects related to the morbidity behavior of lung neoplasia in the "Ramón López Peña" Polyclinic University of Caimanera municipality during the years from 2009 to 2012 are analyzed. The universe of study is 74 patients. A descriptive investigation is carried out, obtaining the information of the clinical records of the patients and of the records in the department of health statistics in this institution. The following variables were studied: age, early and late diagnosis, sex, smoking, mortality and morbidity and incidence of other neoplasms. 100% of the dead were necropsied.
