Resumen de El cineminuto: festivales y contenidos de un género audiovisua

  En el presente estudio se analiza el surgimiento y definición del cineminuto y los festivales en el ámbito internacional, subrayando los casos de España y México. El estudio analiza las plataformas y festivales del cineminuto en el contexto internacional de 1991 a 2016, mediante una metodología documental con base en referencias electrónicas en Internet, publicaciones especializadas sobre cine y sitios web de los festivales. En la búsqueda se usaron categorías de análisis establecidas para el análisis del tema: definición del tipo de festival, año de fundación, país y finalidad. Con este contexto, se realizó un estudio de caso sobre los contenidos del 4º Festival Metropolitano de Cineminuto de la Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, Cuajimalpa 2015 (FMC-2015), a través de un análisis cuantitativo sobre los metadatos de 98 obras participantes, con el fin de conocer las tendencias temáticas y estilísticas, origen, forma de producción y géneros formales usados. Con ello se hace una primera aproximación analítica sobre festivales de cineminuto en México. Se observa que existe una tendencia a la alza en la organización de festivales de cortometrajes y cineminutos en el contexto internacional., aunque todavía de forma muy reducida para Iberoamérica, México y Latinoamérica. Del mismo modo se observa que el FMC-2015 representa una iniciativa que permitó a los jóvenes expresar problemáticas sobre violencia y derechos humanos.

  The present study analyzes the emergence and definition of the one minute film, the festivals in the international scope and in the case of Mexico. The study analyzes the platforms and festivals of one minute film in the international context from 1991 to 2016, through a documentary methodology based on electronic references on the Internet, specialized publications about cinema and festivals websites. In the search we used categories of analysis established for the analysis of the theme: definition of the type of festival, year of foundation, country and purpose. In this context, a case study was conducted on the contents of the 4th Metropolitan Cinema Festival of the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, Cuajimalpa 2015, through a quantitative analysis on the metadata of 98 participating works, in order to know the thematic trends and stylistics, origin and form of production and formal genres used. This makes a first analytical approach to shorts shorts festivals in Mexico. It is observed that there is an upward trend in the organization of short film festivals in the international and national context, although still very small for Iberoamerica, Mexico, Iberoamerica and Latin America. In the same way it is observed that the 4th Metropolitan Cinema Festival represents an initiative that allows the expression of contemporary issues in convergence with the production of short audiovisual narratives.
