Resulta coherente que enseñemos cómo señalamos que debe hacerse. Por eso la asignatura de Nuevas Tecnologías de la Información aplicadas a la Educación de los Planes de Estudio de Maestro debe desarrollarse con la utilización de las mismas. Esta asignatura tiene asignados como mínimo 4 créditos. No obstante, si ponemos una asignatura en red, el tiempo asignado deja de tener sentido ya que las horas que el estudiante permanecerá trabajando con el material correspondiente a la asignatura es casi impredecible. Por otra parte, también deja de tener sentido referirnos a "material correspondiente a la asignatura" porque en el proceso de navegación por diferentes páginas web el estudiante adquiera aprendizajes para otras asignaturas

It's fitting that we teach by using the same methods that we're teaching about. For that reason the course in New Information Technologies Applied to Education in the "Planes de Estudio de Maestro" ought to be developed by actually using these new technologies. This course has at least four credits assigned to it. Nevertheless if we offer a course by the Internet, the time assigned ceases to make sense, since the hours that the student will spend working with the course-related material is almost unpredictable. On the other hand, it also makes no sense even to talk about "course- related material" because in the process of navigating through a number of Web pages, the student may acquire learning pertinent to other subjects
