Resumen de Dibujando el respeto en la pareja: Un estudio sobre simbolizaciones gráficas

La idea de respeto en una relación de pareja puede ser fácil de compartir. No obstante, consideramos importante poner de relieve la existencia de distintos significados, distintas formas de entender esta particular relación. Al elaborar sus ideas, el individuo selecciona aspectos que le son significativos. Así, el uso del dibujo no es sólo un medio de expresión, sino también un medio de exploración y de reflexión, que permite la reelaboración de los propios significados. Un grupo de jóvenes entre 25 y 30 años son invitados a expresar su idea acerca del respeto en una relación de pareja mediante un dibujo, ya sea éste figurativo o no. Se les solicita, asimismo, que transcriban aquellas ideas que les han surgido durante la realización de la tarea. Se analizan de forma cualitativa los dibujos y los significados atribuidos por las y los autores, poniendo de relieve sus procesos de realización.

The idea of respect in a couple relationship can be easy to agree. However, we consider that’s important to emphasize the existence of various meanings, several ways of understanding this kind of relationship. When elaborating their own ideas, an individual selects the aspects that are important for him or her. Therefore, the use of drawing is not only a form of expression, but also a form of exploration and reflection, which allows the redesign of its own meanings. A group of young people between 25 and 30 years old is invited to express their ideas about respect in a couple through a drawing, figurative or not. They are also asked to explain the ideas that have arisen during the execution of tasks. The drawings and meanings are analyzed in a qualitative way, highlighting their execution processes.
