Agustín Sanmiguel Mateo fue presidente del Centro de Estudios Bilbilitanos (CEB) durante veintidós años. En este período dirigió la actividad del CEB hacia la investigación, la defensa del patrimonio, la publicación de libros y el desarrollo de los Encuentros de Estudios Bilbilitanos. Además, Sanmiguel destacó como especialista en mudéjar, fotógrafo, dibujante y divulgador.

Agustín Sanmiguel Mateo was President of the Centro de Estudios Bilbilitanos (CEB) for twenty-two years. In this period of time, he directed the activity of the CEB towards the research, the defence of the heritage, the publication of books and the development of Encuentros de Estudios Bilbilitanos. Sanmiguel also excelled as a specialist in Mudéjar art, photographer, artist and promoter.
