En el año 2013 se produjo en España una controvertida reforma del órgano de gobierno del Poder Judicial por Ley Orgánica 4/2013, de 28 de junio. Esta modificación fue recurrida ante el Tribunal Constitucional que apenas se acaba de pronunciar en su sentencia 191/2016, de 15 de noviembre, avalando, en su integridad, la nueva regulación. El objeto de este texto es describir y analizar esta decisión del Tribunal Constitucional.

The Spanish Law of Judicial Power was amended in 2013. The reform substantially affected the General Council of the Judiciary. It was a very controversial reform which was appealed to the Constitutional Court (appeal of inconstitutionality). The Constitutional Court has recently resolved this matter by pointing out that the reform is completely constitutional. The aim of this article is to describe and analyse this decision of the Constitutional Court.
