La doble focalitat de l'ètica: elogi de la subjectivitat i crida a l'objectivitat

    This article deals with the apparent tension between subjectivism and objectivism in the ethical discourse, and shows that in fact these two expressions should be extended to the terms subjectivity and subjectivization, on the one hand, and objectivity and objectivization, on the other, in order to notice that they express the double and unsolvable focus of ethical reflection. Ethics is subjective and subjectivising because it is only possible when someone, a subject, assuming and exercising his intelligence and freedom, fulfills himself in its performance. At the same time, ethics is objective and objectivising because it expresses the responsibility of the human subject for his behavior, which, once performed, stops being his own to be included in the field of effective impact on the world. And the subject has to give an account of this impact. Therefore, ethics becomes both a praise of subjectivity and a cal1 for objectivity.

    L'article vol afrontar l'aparent tensió entre el subjectivisme i l'objectivisme en el discurs ètic mostrant que, en realitat, cal reconduir aquestes expressions als termes de subjectivitat i subjectivització d'una banda, i d'objectivitat i objectivització de l'altra, per tal de fer veure que s'hi expressa la doble i irresoluble focalitat de la reflexió ètica. L'ètica és subjectiva i subjectivitzadora perquè només es dóna quan hi ha algú, un subjecte, que, assumint i exercint la seva intel·ligència i la seva llibertat, s'autorrealitza en la seva actuació. Alhora, l'ètica és objectiva i objectivitzadora perquè expressa la responsabilitat del subjecte humà davant del seu comportament que, un cop actuat, s'escapa ja de l'àmbit de la seva estricta possessió per passar a l'àmbit de la incidència efectiva sobre el món, incidència de la qual aquest subjecte és l'autor cridat a donar-ne raó. Així, l'ètica esdevé, alhora, un elogi de la subjectivitat i una crida a l'objectivitat.
