Intentaré comprender y remitir a su fundamento los presupuestos teóricos de la biosemiótica, que son (i.) la capacidad interpretativa de señales -y no meramente receptiva- de todos los seres vivos. (ii.) que todos los seres vivos tienen medios -Umwelt-; y (iii.) que por consiguiente todos los seres vivos tienen mentes.

This paper focusses on the comprehension of the philosophical presuppositions of Biosemiothics (i.) all living beings have the ability of controlling information, and not merely the raw capacity of receive information. (ii.) All living beings have environments -Umwelt-; and (iii.) consequently, all living beings behave as if -als ob- they had minds.
