Resumen de Tres posibles fuentes de las auctoritates contenidas en el "Cautiverio feliz"

Uno de los rasgos más llamativos del "Cautiverio Feliz", de Francisco Neñez de Pineda y Bascuñán, son las abundantes citas de autoridad que forman parte de sus secciones argumentativas. El objetivo de este artículo es presentar una serie de correspondencias entre el Cautiverio y tres de las obras referidas con más frecuencia en él —los comentarios bíblicos de Francisco de Mendoza, Gaspar Sánchez y Gaspar de Villarroel—, y proponer con certeza casi absoluta que estos commentaria, aparte de citados, habrían sido utilizados a modo de polianteas de fragmentos de otros autores: es decir, que un nemero importante de las auctoritates presentes en el texto se habría tomado de los comentarios antes mencionados.

One of the most interesting aspects of Francisco Neñez de Pineda y Bascuñán’s "Cautiverio feliz" is the abundance of quotations included as part of its argumentative sections. The aim of this article is to show correspondences between "Cautiverio feliz" and three of the most quoted works in this writing –the Bible commentaries of Francisco de Mendoza, Gaspar Sánchez and Gaspar de Villarroel–, and to propose that these commentaria were not only quoted, but also used as polyantheas of other authors’ fragments.This means that an important number of the auctoritates present in "Cautiverio feliz" would have been taken from the above mentioned commentaria
