Resumen de Un revulsivo para la autoconfianza: “la profesión del traductor e intérprete”

En este trabajo analizaremos los puntos fuertes y débiles de la asignatura de la Profesión del Traductor e Intérprete con un enfoque colaborativo y centrado en el estudiante como actor principal del proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje en el contexto universitario español. Sin uno de los objetivos explícitos de la programación docente, los estudiantes de esta asignatura destacan que el enfoque docente y la atmósfera de la clase en un aula de 80 estudiantes les han ayudado a desarrollar su autoconfianza.

In this paper, the strengths and weaknesses of the module “the translator and interpreter’s profession” will be analysed, following a collaborative approach centred on the student as the main actor in the teaching-learning process within the Spanish Higher Education context. Among others, one of the article conclusions’ is that the teaching approach and the atmosphere of the course with a total of 80 students per session helped the students to develop their self-confidence as a result of this teaching experience.
