Viquejos is a deserted hamlet located three kilometres away from Morata; it belongs to Lorca council and it is placed at the foot of Almenara’s mountain. In the dilapidated walls of its houses we can contemplate the anonymous remnants left by its inhabitants, materialised in graffiti on diverse subjects. Amongst them, because of its singularity and dimensions, we can highlight the representation of a big sailing ship scratched by skilled hands which knew how to capture on the wall the admiration shown towards these giants of the sea. In this article the previously mentioned graffiti is analysed, from the technique used in its execution to the possible typological classification of the ship object of this study. In addition, the importance of ship representations in the general context of historical graffiti must not be forgotten.
