Guillaume Kientz's essay recapitulates the point of view of the art historian and clarifies certain elements of the chronology, as well as providing new indications for the interpretation of the decoration, in light of observations resulting from the restored state.
Colette di Matteo's essay presents the problematic of the site, argued in part in light of new research into the history of the restoration of the gallery, its paintings, as well as the sculptures in stucco and the gilding.
