    El llevar una determinada vestimenta, prendas que cubran la cabeza o determinados símbolos es un comportamiento protegido por el derecho de libertad religiosa. En este artículo se analiza esta manifestación de la libertad religiosa en el ámbito laboral. El estudio trata tanto las instituciones públicas como las privadas. No cabe duda de que tanto la fuerte inmigración de personas de otras culturas verificada durante las últimas décadas en nuestro país, como el carácter transnacional de las grandes empresas contemporáneas, hacen que se trate de una materia objeto de un creciente interés.

    The wearing of distinctive clothing, headcoverings or symbols is a behavior protected by the right to religious freedom. This article attempts an overview to this manifestation of the right to religious freedom in the workplace. The study focuses not only in public institutions but also in the private sector. It is no doubt about the growing interest of this subject because of the strong immigration in our country of persons from different cultures verified during the last decades, and because the transnational character of the actual main companies.
