Resumen de Azorín en el frente francés

Durante la Primera Guerra Mundial José Martínez Ruíz «Azorín» fue el enviado especial a Francia por el diario ABC. Entre 1914 y 1918 el periodista relato y analizo cómo afectaba el día a día de este país la guerra. Dada la diferencia que existía entre el campo y la ciudad, y la estrecha relación de Azorín con París nos centraremos en las apreciaciones del escritor sobre esta ciudad. Para ello estudiaremos los artículos recopilados en el libro París Bombardeado (1919). A través de estos escritos observaremos la vida cotidiana de los parisinos durante la Gran Guerra, veremos cómo los seres humanos se sobreponen a situaciones límite e intentaremos dilucidar la idea que tenía el periodista sobre la capital francesa.

José Martínez Ruíz “Azorin” was the special envoy to France of the newspaper ABC during the First World War. The journalist analysed and wrote about how the armed conflict affected French daily life between 1914 and 1918. Taking into account the differences between the countryside and the city, and the close relationship that Azorín had with Paris, we will focus on the author’s thoughts on the city. To that end, we will study the articles collected in the book Paris bombardeado (1919). Through these writings we will observe the daily life of Parisians during the Great War and how humans overcome extreme situations. Finally, we will clarify the personal vision of Azorín on Paris.
