Resumen de An optimum inspection policy for systems with multiple sorts of unrevealed failures

• A model for testing a unit with N different sorts of failures revealed only by inspection, is studied. Tests could be imperfect when erroneously is stated that a failure has ocurred, or in case a failure is not discovered.

  Whenever a failure is detected, a corrective maintenance is performed.

  The aim of this work is to find optimum inspection policies, minimizing cost per unit of time for an infinite time span.
