  La construcción local del Derecho Administrativo es reciente, se puede hablar de Escuela toda vez que, en el caso del Externado, la enseñanza de la materia se soporta en una intensa actividad investigativa que comienza a cuestionar construcciones que se daban por sentadas y en herramientas novedosas que facilitan el aprendizaje, tales como la elaboración de talleres. Esta técnica conlleva rigor científico no sólo en la selección del tema a desarrollar sino también en la identificación de las finalidades u objetivos que se pretendan alcanzar en el aula.

  The development of the Administrative Law by the scientific community in Colombia is relatively new. It is possible to propose the existence of a legal school of thought in Universidad Externado due to the fact that the teaching activity of this subject is based on a very intensive and strong research activity. Researchers there started to reconsider traditional theoretical constructions and proposed innovative tools in order to make learning process easier. These new tools of teaching and learning imply scientific accuracy not only selecting topics but also identifying learning goals.
